No. Posty does not publish or post anything to your social media accounts. It only generates post ideas, captions and images. You copy the content and post it yourself, to whichever platform you choose, whenever you choose.

Posty reads the posts already on your connected Instagram profile to learn your tone, your subjects and your audience, then generates ideas that fit that voice rather than generic AI filler. Every suggestion is editable — you can make a caption shorter, longer, funnier, more personal or more businesslike before you use it. Once you are happy with an idea, you copy it and post it manually.

Posty can remind you when it is a good time to create and share something, so posting regularly does not depend on remembering. A reminder is only a notification — it never posts anything for you.

Not to get started. You can sign in and use Posty to generate ideas and captions before connecting anything. Connecting Instagram is what lets Posty learn your particular voice from your past posts, so the suggestions stop being generic and start sounding like you.

Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never share your data with third parties without your explicit consent. Our Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is collected and why.

Yes. You can organise and generate post ideas for several profiles inside Posty, each with its own voice. You still post each piece of content to the relevant account yourself.

Yes. You can attach photos from your gallery, take one with the camera, or have Posty generate an image from a description. Generated images follow the style you pick, so they sit alongside the caption rather than looking bolted on.

You pick the days you want to post and one time — three days a week is a sensible start — and Posty sends a notification then. Opening it takes you straight to a set of ideas, so there is no blank screen waiting for you. A reminder is only a notification: it never posts anything on your behalf.

Yes. Posty keeps track of the posts you publish and lists them with their likes and comments, marking which ones it helped you write. Once you have enough posts of each kind, it compares the two and shows you the difference. Until then it shows the plain numbers rather than a percentage, because a percentage from two or three posts is noise rather than a result.

Posts under about two days old are marked as still settling. A post that has been up for an hour has not finished collecting likes and comments, and counting it early would drag the numbers around for reasons that have nothing to do with the post. It still appears in your list — it just does not move the comparison yet.

You can delete your account directly from the app settings, or submit a request on our data deletion page. All your data is permanently removed within 30 days of the request.
